"A week is a long time..."
really?
gosh...
I never knew
and I totally disagree.
Being home for the CNY break
really puts me in high spirits.
During my last class on the previous thursday,
my head was filled with nothing but bits of fluff and dust
and the image of home.
It amazes me how fast my focus can be altered.
There I was saturday afternoon
packing in 30 minutes and carried all of my textbooks into the car.
My determination to study at home
was really encouraging back then.
but...
what do you know?
POOF!!
Its all gone the second Im home.
my textbooks was left in the trunk until wednesday.
haha
This break was not really fun for me
well, first..my parents are gone for new zealand
and Im left all ALONE at home
and with the departure of mum and dad,
Im left with the responsibility of taking care of the house
and all its contents...
what fun-
It has been total DISASTER
I cannot be trusted with a house on my own
- I always forgot to water my mum's precious plants..oh, you would not believe how many potted plants mum has...its like she's trying to open her own nursery or something.
- Ive always known we have some fish in the house...may it be frozen or still swimming...I dont know whats gotten into me,I forgot about the fish in the aquarium... so,technically..they were unfed for 3 days and eventually one of them died..It was flushed down the toilet...poor goldfish~
- Ive been starving myself for a whole week...Ive never really gotten the hang to cook for myself for every single meal...so tiring..but, you can call eating mandarin oranges as a meal, right?
- The good thing is..that Ive manage to finish most of my homework..but I have a feeling this is not gonna happen again soon.. sigh~
anyway, back to the main topic...
Its already the weekends, which means Im nearing the end of my break
and it felt like its only been 2 days
wow, being at home really makes you forget everything else....
